Hi All,
I am new here and have a 17 BMW 1200 GSA Triple Black and consider a move over to a 1200 RS or the new 1250 RS.
So I want to see want I can learn from you guys here.

Welcome BBK, lots of unbiased opinion on here.............I haven't owned a GSA so I cant give you a comparison but surely some members will do that. Of course a long test ride would be helpful in deciding. You will experience more wind blast and helmet roar I'm sure, and your knees hips will have to flex more, but that said I think the riding position is superb and truly engaging with the assured footing that comes from conventional usd forks at the front end. With full luggage options the RS is a very happy marriage of sports & tourer.

Welcome.

Take a test ride on the types of road you ride on. I see you are in South Africa, so do you spend time on rural, dirt roads? A friend of mine hails from the other end of S Africa, NE of Pretoria and I am pretty sure he would go for a GS type bike if he returned to his family farm from his job in banking in the UK.
