This is going to be fun. A woman by the name of Florence Fang owns a mushroom home overlooking the I-280 Freeway, about 20 miles south of San Francisco. She lives in one of the most exclusive and uptight towns in California. The town fathers are not amused by her love for the Flintstones and are suing her to force her to remove her backyard decorations. However, Ms. Fang and the Flintstones are going to take on the city of Hillsborough in court. If she has enough money maybe she can take her case all the way to the Supreme Court. No doubt the Justices would be thrilled to hear the case. However, I do kind of wish she would repaint the purple mushroom on top of her home a different color. Apparently Ms. Fang has a lot of public support according to the local TV news. The news says that there is a petition supporting the Flintstones on "change.org", which is shooting for 25K signatures on the petition supporting Ms. Fang and her yard decorations.

Zoning

If the Fangs didn't apply for the proper permits and they violated established covenants, their case is pretty toothless.
