R1250 RS Exclusive, as new with less than 800 miles, many extras including luggage - reduced to £11,950

For sale due to health issue (serious spinal problem). Previously advertised for £12,500.

The bike is the Exclusive model and was bought new on 29.11.19, so has 20 months remaining of the BMW warranty. The Exclusive model includes two of the three option packs as standard and I also specified everything from the third option pack except for the GSAP (gear shift assist pro) as my experience of that on my previous GS led me to believe that the gearshift is much better without it, something borne out by my experience with the RS. It does not have the alarm or SOS, nor any of the additional bling options, but does have the rear rack which does not come as standard. As part of this spec the bike includes the latest ESA suspension which auto-adjusts preload and damping to suit the load on the bike and which I have found to be excellent when changing between solo and two-up riding.

The bike will include a full set of Shad luggage which has been partially painted to match the bike. This consists of the SH59X top box with which can adjust to three different capacities and has the optional padded backrest, plus a pair of the Shad SH35 panniers. Other additions are SW-Motech bar risers, and a clutch line extension to provide additional slack in the line, handguards, plus a Givi screen, and a satnav relocation bracket. It also comes with the X-head cylinder protectors and a set of CoolCovers for the seats. I will also include a virtually unused BMW RS specific tankbag.

Firstly, sorry to hear you are having to give up due to health reasons.

Is the bike still available?

I just purchased a 2017RS in blue and white and am so impressed with it I am considering giving up my K5 gixxer 1000 that I said I would never sell. I would sell the gixxer and RS and stick with one bike. I’m getting a bit long in the tooth for the gixxer really, 63 next month.
