I had these fitted to my 2017 bike for a month or so but replaced them with a handlebar conversion which gave me another 30mm or so

I have used the bolts so a new set of bolts will be required

Hi might be interested in these , hopefully going to do a deal tomorrow on a r1250rs which if I’m correct will fit . Understand if someone comes along and snaps them up ,but can let you know as soon as the deal is done tomorrow.thanks

Bought some stainless steel and zinc plated steel bolts to go with the risers. Both types will be supplied

Hi I just read through your thread and wanted to know what bars you used instead of the stock ones. I have a 1200 18 plate rs that I bought with bar risers up and in. I still feel like Im stretching a little and wondering if there is another option before I trade to maybe a gs. I feel uncomfortable arm and seating. advice greatly appreciated. Thank you

The Wunderlich handlebar kit is more up and back than the other options, and also the bars are wider by about an inch either side.

The risers certainly helped but changing the bars have made it perfect. With the risers fitted there is no scope for fine adjustment but with the bars fitted you can rotate them in the mounts which gives you extra up and down adjustment as well as closer or further away.

I ended up with the bars being about 22mm further back than the risers and about 65mm higher than the risers. The Wunderlich conversion is about £285 but I did mine for about £93 all in. I found a set of LSL bars on eBay from Germany which cost about £36 plus £15 postage (new, absolute bargain) and I got the top clamps from a breaker for £20 each plus £3 postage.

Be careful with the clamps, they need to be off an R1200R. They are handed because the half circle cut out for the bars is at an angle. The ones on eBay have straight cut circles.

If interested I can look to see if any more bars are available at that price and pm where the clamps came from (not allowed to post links)

Hi Graham apologies I have pm you asking for a picture before I even seen the post here. your certainly a dab hand at finding a bargain. bar conversion looks good and if it feels right then its a way forward. I will keep you posted.
