the BBC weather told me the UK is starting a heat wave today so I donned my mesh gear and set off for the coast on this route https://maps.app.goo.gl/CQMft7phbhBpmxEe9 - of course, with the treat of fish and chips at Walkers, possibly the best chippie in this part of the workd.

I know the feeling Wessie, on Friday I left home in Staffordshire with a warm 23c, very pleasant and rode through North Wales and on to Anglesey, traffic through Shropshire was heavy so the journey took about 4 hours with a petrol/ coffee break in Llangollen. Temperatures dipped to 18c through Snowdonia ( almost stopped to put on a sweater but the heat lost removing a jacket seemed a poor trade off), and then it rained for my last 20 minutes on Anglesey. |

On a cross country trip, I was in full leathers and going over a mountain highway in Colorado. As I neared the peak, it was snowing with several inches along the sides of the road. As I came done the other side, people in convertibles (and their trophy girlfriends/wives in skimpy attire) were headed the other way. I couldn’t help but giggle over the rude awakening they were about to experience.

Went out this morning for a breakfast rideout in Norfolk it was schorchio, had my vents open on my jacket and I was still sweating like a rapist in a convent when I got home.

Return visit today and I am parked where I was in cloud last month. Perfect riding conditions, sunny and not too hot, about 20C/68F
