Not to get too far afield, but does anyone recall an aftermarket "ABS" device that was sold about 25 years ago? It apparently consisted of a small finned canister that you plumbed into your hydraulic brake line. It looked like an air chamber that would reduce your braking power when braking hard. I bet it would have been a lot cheaper to just introduce some air into your brake lines. Needless to say that it didn't last very long in the market and I never knew anyone who actually bought one. However, I think it was reviewed by at least one U.S. motorcycle magazine editor who pronounced it the greatest thing since (insert your favorite aftermarket surface-gap spark plugs, automatic wheel weights, 100 mpg carburetors, fuel magnetizer, super slick oil, Swarp, etc. here).

I think the device I described above was called something like the Safe-T-Braker.
