Looks good, Saneman. I have looked at the Triple-S webite and plan to use them. Could you please advise on how best to remove the springs? I have read the threads but wonder what you did, thanks.

I used the idea on YouTube by CyMarc. I'll find it. I had a pile of small washers, 0.8mm thick. With stand down bend first one spring and then the other to insert 27 washers into each spring. Take bike off the stand and the plates and springs come off fairly easily. Refitting is the reverse. It helps to leave enough washer proud to enable pliers to pull it out. I had to use a thin screwdriver to get a couple free.
